Using Multiple Firefox Profiles

If you are a Firefix fan maybe you know about firefox profiles. If not, I explain this. Firefox can have many profiles. so what the hell is this?

close all firefox windows and type “firefox -profilemanager” in the run window.

Run the Firefox with Profile Manager

Run the Firefox with Profile Manager

the new window will apear

Firefox Profile Manager

Firefox Profile Manager

You can create a new profile and do some other stuff. The use of some profiles is when using a share computer, any one can has his/her profile. If you are a Firefox fan, you may need to install an addon. So you can test it first with “Test” profile. The other use of multipple profile is loginig in into a site with diffrent usename and password.

With profile manager you can select your profile and start firefox. It is much easier to use Run. imean type “firefox -p PROFILE_NAME”. The Profile Will use in firefox. but the pitfall is with this command you can only use one profile. for exapmle if I run “firefox -p PROILE_1″ and then “firefox -p PROILE_2″. it only runs Firefox with PROFILE_1 profile.

to run multiple profiles samiultaniosely , use this commane:

firefox -p PROFILE_1 -no-remote

firefox -p PROFILE_2 -no-remote

You have 2 running profiles.

Have nice day ( maybe night!).
